Our-Policy

We all know that the natural environment is on the receiving end of the excessive use of pesticides and fertilisers as well as the mechanical mistreatment of the soil. In addition, we know that the quality of olive oil is directly related to its method of cultivation.
Therefore in order to control the impact of the cultivation of olive trees on the environment, and with the aim to continuously improve the quality of the exceptional extra virgin olive oil we produce, we rigorously apply a system of integrated/environmental management for our producers’ olive trees.

With the application of this system we aim to;
a)Minimise the disturbance to the earth for the continuous improvement of its fertility and guarantee its viability.
b)Balance the care and protection of our trees by only essential intervention, priority being given to biological actions so that we ensure minimal impact on the environment and the maximum quality for our extra virgin olive oil.
c)Balance the irrigation of our olive groves according to their needs and thereby simultaneously make prudent use of the limited water resources.
d)Generally reduce any negative repercussions to the environment from agricultural activities that are related to the production of our products.

The members of the production team are committed to:

•Apply and maintaining a system of environmental management at their farms where they cultivate olive trees and their fruit which is intended for extraction of olive oil.

•Continuously improve the environmental management system in order to decrease negative repercussions to the environment that may occur from their activities related to the cultivation of olive oil.

•Know which activities create pollution to the environment and ensure appropriate measures are taken to avoid this from occurring.

Know the existing Greek and Community environmental legislation, the rules and regulations that are related to the production team activities, the Codes of Equitable Agricultural Practice and to conform by them.

The final aim is the consumer receives the product as he exactly wishes, olive oil free of chemical remains and having excellent organoleptic characteristics.
